Vintage Indian Brass Vase, Hand engraved and hand painted brass vase

This exquisite vase from India is made of solid brass, which has a warm, golden hue with a light patina, suggesting its vintage origin.
The surface is decorated with masterful hand engraving and subsequent filling with colored enamel (a technique from traditional Indian crafts).
The vase has an extremely elegant, classic oriental silhouette: a long and slender neck, ending at its upper part with a widened, wavy (folded) edge, reminiscent of a blooming flower.
The central part is strongly widened (tumbled), forming a beautiful beehive or teardrop shape, which is most richly ornamented with floral and geometric patterns.
The lower part passes into a very thin, elongated neck (stool), which rests on a stable, round conical base, also engraved with red enamel details.
