A charming and distinctive hand-carved wooden figurine depicting a man (tailor) wearing a long coat and a flat-brimmed hat. In one hand he holds a large pair of scissors and in the other a large needle, which is unfortunately broken and the lower part is missing. Carved in a bold, cubist folkloric style with expressive, angular features.
The figure is made from a single piece of wood, excluding the scissors and needle.

  • It was purchased from Russia in the 1980s.
  • Very good vintage condition
