Vintage Oriental Photo Album with Leather Covers

A beautiful, masterfully crafted retro photo album with leather binding, distinguished by relief decoration in oriental style.
The cover is made of dark green leather. The edges are neatly braided by hand with a thin leather ribbon.
The front cover is decorated with a detailed three-dimensional picture depicting a traditional desert or coastal urban landscape - in the left part a tall tower or minaret in white and green colors clearly stands out, ending at the top with a crescent moon, in the foreground detailed palm trees with brown trunks and green crowns, as well as relief cacti are depicted, in the background a densely built-up city with flat roofs and domes (typical of Arabic architecture) is visible, located in front of a blue water line (sea or oasis) and sandy hills.

The object brings a strong feeling of souvenir craftsmanship from the middle or second half of the 20th century, probably from regions such as Tunisia, Morocco or Algeria.
